Stella’s Blog – 16th March 2016

A bit more progress at Snay L’a Community School – the floors are all complete, doors and windows all painted a handsome shade of blue and each has been fitted with handles and a large padlock. The children have been playing in the empty building but now we are near completion we need to start installing a respect for property and more importantly not allow all the children to walk in and out of the rooms once there are valuable sewing machines etc in there. There are still a few things on the snagging list and then electricity is due to be connected next week.

I love the sight of all those little shoes outside, its not officially in use yet because we need the power installed and then we need to invite the monks and village elders to come and have a blessing ceremony, but its wonderful to have extra space to get out of the hot sun.
